Local Businesses love support of their community

Its just so sweet knowing that people out in the community think about how they can help local business. In the season where schools and non-profits are working hard for their fund-raising campaigns, I got a call this week that a lady wanted to donate discontinued sample pool tiles to our studio. She said if we didnt want them, she was going to donate them to a school as she hated for them to be thrown in a dumpster.
Well, being a for-profit store, I thought that a nice turn would be to create a piece of artwork or two to be donated to a school auction. That way, not only can we blog about some ways to use leftover tiles from home improvement projects, but we can donate some great artwork to non-profits that doesnt put much of a strain on our resouces.
